This unique 480 acre parcel of land is located between Rose Hill and Derby.  The donors, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Fleming, wanted to create a tribute to their families homestead by creating a conservancy area for the community to enjoy. 

 Today the land is still being actively farmed.  As the area begins to urbanize, the farm will be transformed into a wildlife area with leisure recreational uses.

It is the intention of the Sunflower Land Trust to work with the community to add more lands to the park and make it one of the local “gems” of the southeastern Sedgwick County region
