For someone desiring
to preserve the agricultural aspects of their land
and help to preserve the agricultural character of
the community, this is an example to follow.
Nine hundred and
forty (940) acres of land, divided into six quarter
sections, and a total of four home sites create a
real wildlife paradise around the farmland the
easements are designed to preserve. A total of 12
miles of existing or potential windbreaks, a mile
plus of riparian corridor, and 40 or so acres of
habitat is scattered between the six quarter
sections of land.
As the family
considers the transition of the property to new land
owners, the can do so with the knowledge of what
they have strived to preserve is kept alive with the
easements, and the wild areas they enjoyed as their
youth is still available for others to enjoy. |
